Online Voting for People's Choice in Digital Photography Contest
More than 150 people entered our Point and Shoot Digital Photography contest. Cast your vote for the People’s Choice winner anytime between September 7 and 14. Winners will get the opportunity to have their work framed, matted and displayed at the Centerville Police Department Gallery. Click here to vote.
 
Online Refuse Collection Payments Now Accepted

The City of Centerville is now accepting online refuse collection payments. Residents may use a credit card or electronic check to pay their bill. Credit cards accepted include Master Card, VISA, Discover, and American Express. Official Payments will be administering the services and there is a $3.95 convenience fee associated with the payment. The payment option is listed as “Official Payments: Pay Refuse Bill Online” on the City’s website www.ci.centerville.oh.us  under the Quick Links area.

Brush Drop Off Available

On Wednesdays from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., residents may drop off tree limbs and brush at the Centerville Public Works Center located at 7970 S. Suburban Drive.  Residents are required to show proof of residency to the main office.  A Public Works crew member will be available to assist residents with unloading.  Tree limbs and brush cannot be longer than 8 ft. and no thicker than 10 in. in diameter.  Tree stumps, dirt, sod, grass and rocks will not be accepted.   If you have any questions, please contact Public Works at 428-4782.

A Day In India Scheduled for September 25
The Centerville Arts Commission is teaming up with the Washington-Centerville Public Library, the Centerville-Washington Diversity Council and the India Foundation of Dayton to bring you a Celebration of India! Mark your calendars for Saturday September 25th from 11am-2pm at the Centerville Library, 111 W. Spring Valley Road. Bring the kids, sample some great Indian cooking, try out Mehndi henna hand-painting, learn about the art of wrapping a sari, and check out different dance styles of the country.   Click here for the event flyer.
